Journal History

  1. Journal IUS: Legal and justice review is a journal published by the Master of Law program, Faculty of Law, University of Mataram, Indonesia. This journal aimed to introduce the variety of legal schools of thought as well as legal research outcomes by academics and practitioners in the field of criminal, private, international, constitution, administrative, Islamic, economic, medical, Adat, environment law and other related contemporary legal issues. Jurnal IUS: Legal and justice review published three times annually in the month of April, August, and December. The accepted and printable manuscript will be published online through the Online Journal System (OJS) and printed out gradually.

    Journal IUS: Legal and justice review is established since 2013, registered in ISSN number 2303-3827 on January 9 2013 for a print version. This journal constantly conducting enhancement either in substance and management including:

    1. Conducting OJS for journal management since 2015 in order to adjust with the latest journal management requirement and as a part of preparation for national accreditation through ARJUNA application
    2. Conducting thematic publication in 2013 to 2016 but was terminated in 2017 due to difficulty linking the articles with the theme and also applied single cover since then.
    3. Since 2017 the Journal website adjusted to OJS version and therefore undergone modification as follows:
    • Addition of visitor statistic
    • Adjustment on editorial board, aim and scope, publication ethics, author guidelines, online reviewer guidelines, template and online submission guidelines
    • Referencing style uses the Chicago Manual of Style.
    1. Registered in E-ISSN number 2477-815X since December 2015
    2. Since December 2016 has become a member of CROSSREF which enables each article to have a unique DOI number with DOI prefix  10.29303.
    3. Registered in the Association of Indonesian Law Journal Management (APJHI) since 2017
    4. Registered in ARJUNA and accredited nationally under decree number 30/E/KPT/ 2018
    5. Registered in ARJUNA and accredited nationally under decree number 158/E/KPT/2021
    6. Review complate in scopus Accepted 23-Oct-2023

     Important Notes :

    1. In order to attract wider audiences, since Volume 10 Edition 2 August 2022 Journal IUS Law and Justice Studies no longer accept articles which written in Bahasa Indonesia. The submitted article has to be written in English (for further information please see Author Guidelines)
    2. For a uniform manuscript, the submission to issues published from December 2022 onwards the Journal IUS uses the Chicago Manual of Style in the Reference.
